Weekly Report

Balmac International added to its scope of activities in various commodities the trade in raw cotton. This new line of activity is pursued with much dedication from the New York office. The Cotton Division in BALMAC International is, so far, principally involved in the trade of US-Pima styles to their worldwide customers.

The shareholders of BALMAC -- to underline their commitment for cotton trading -- own an important stake in Otto Stadtlander GmbH, Bremen. Their activity is well defined in their website page (www.osta-bremen.de) in the Internet.

Extra-Long Staple cotton in comparison to the more widely grown Upland cotton (Gossypium Hirsutum) is generally defined as the finer, longer and stronger fibre harvested in the U.S. from November through January/February of the proceeding year of the Pima cotton plants (Gossypium Barbadense) sown in March and April. Cotton of similar fibre characteristics is also produced in China, Egypt, India and Peru.

Utilizing its alliance with Otto Stadtlander and the combined
net of well-experienced agencies throughout the entire cotton consuming and producing world, Balmac International is well prepared to handle its
customers' special needs to select the most suitable fibre for their specific requirements.
